And Now For Something Completely Nerdy

Those who follow me on Twitter or are my “friend” on Facebook know that I like Halo, and those who follow closely know that just yesterday, my awesome wife gave the green light to buy the new one that’s coming out on 9/22:  Halo 3 ODST.

I was already convinced that this was going to be a good game because it’s improving on things that were already established and creating a different experience within the same game world that I’ve lived in for so many years.  (And, I truly like Halo, I’ve even read most of the books.  The mythology of it intrigues me.)

A while back, nerds will tell you, Microsoft and Bungie attempted to create a Halo movie, but wouldn’t relinquish control of the story or anything.  Which, as you’re about to witness, would be amazing.

This is, by far, the best trailer for a video game that I think I’ve ever seen.  It’s got story, it’s got action, and it’s accurate.

I’m excited to play this the day it comes out, and if you’re a nerd, you should be too.

Are you excited about something that other people are probably only marginally excited (if at all) about?  Embrace your inner nerdiness and give whatever it is a hearty discourse (or shout out, or whatever)!

i don't like Halo that much. it's a pretty good good sci-fi story, but i'm not into FPS. what i'm anticipating is Borderlands. a shooter/RPG mashup with hundreds of thousands of possible weapons in it.

oh and MUA 2. that should be a pretty good game.

No denying that! MUA2 is going to be awesome. Did you play Mass Effect? Cause Mass Effect 2 is coming out, and the first one was AWESOME.
