Post #50 – The Series Finale

Captain’s log: Stardate… Tuesday… (this is for the 3, 2, 1 Penguin fans out there!… Anyone?)

Hello fans of this ridiculousness.

I think we’ve all seen this coming for a while now, but Rationalizing the Irrational, my public venting page for things that annoy me, and occasionally for things that move me, will be going offline.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I know that some of you actually check this for fun. You like it, you might think it’s funny or provocative, but in reality, it’s holding me back from my true dreams as an author.

I have 3 “blogs” at this point (although, I’ve been told that The Underfold doesn’t count as a blog, nor does my other) and this one has continued to get less and less attention by me. It’s also been a point of distraction from my novel writing.

However! (And, yes, there is good news) For those of you that actually like to read pretty much anything that I write, I will be starting another blog that deals more in the creative writing realm or on the things that I wish to write creatively about. More an actual author’s blog.

This is the only blog that I am giving up. So, if you still like my wacky humor… just check out The Underfold which is updated Wednesdays and Sundays. Or, if you don’t like nearly as much humor, check out White Board Artwork which is updated so infrequently it isn’t funny!

So, to recap… Cancel your subscriptions or stop following or whatever you need to do. This puppy’s shutting down at the end of the week.

Say your goodbyes or last minute pleas until Friday the 13th of March 2009. (Sounds a bit too perfect doesn’t it?) On this momentous day, Jason will again come back from the dead for the umpteenth time to hack and slice this blog into the pile of gore and garbage it deserves (which is basically like getting a Michael Bay revival… we can only hope!).
