Care-frontation?!
Simply the most ridiculous word I’ve ever heard uttered in a church service to replace confrontation.
Why do we feel the need to change words to make them sound better? It’s right up there on my list of “Annoying Things” that make me crazy in the head next to “Using K’s in place of C’s for alliteration’s sake.”
Okay, here’s the story. There was a ridiculously simple problem, and a group went through some Christian counceling to figure out what to do. They already KNEW WHAT TO DO! Don’t we all?
How many times have you been in an argument (Now, this doesn’t count for man v. woman arguments, those are a different sort of animal) and known the correct path to take, but you don’t? Uh, like always?
I’m all for pride and hubris, but making up a word to make your stupid conflict sound like something from Sesame Street?
